St Michael’s P.T.F.A.

(Parent, Teacher and Friends Association)

Following their successful Christmas programme of events, the H.S.A. have rebranded themselves looking to widen their support base. As of now we have a Parent Teacher & Friends Association or P.T.F.A for short! Please support them whenever you can in providing fun activities for the children and raising money too!

Here at St Michael’s we have a very active PTFA team run by a group of parents and friends of the school. They work very hard to raise money on behalf of the school and offer ample opportunities for children, parents and teachers to socialise together at more informal events such the PTFA Disco, Summer Fayre and Easter events.

The PTFA has provided the school with keyboards for the music room, painting tabards and a most wonderful ‘Trim Trail’ on the field. The PTFA gave over £4000 to help fund a fabulous outdoor learning environment, a PA system for the Hall and a selection of multi-skills equipment and tennis racquets. We are thankful to have such a dedicated, supportive PTFA team working hard to develop our school. The PTFA are always looking for new members, if you are interested in joining speak to Mrs C Hopkinson (Chair & parent) or look out for details about the next meeting on the latest newsletter.
