Year 1 remember St. Michael's Day Each 29th September we try to mark our Saints Day in some way. This year we took all of Year 1 up to St Michael's Church for a 'Treasure Trail' exploring the inside and outside of the building. The children were delighted to find images of sheep, peacock feathers, hosts of angels and even two lions in the beautiful stained-glass windows. St. Michael's Church of England Primary School was founded in Louth, Lincolnshire in the Victorian Times, although moved to its present location in 1974. St. Michael's is a school of 270 pupils, with 10 classes starting from Foundation Stage 2 through to Year 6. The Head Teacher, Mr Paul Fox, is enjoying his fourteenth year in post and Mr John Marritt has been the Assistant Head for eight years.
